Specialised Traumatology, as defined by the interdisciplinary programme, includes, in addition to the specialist competencies of “Surgery” or “Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology of the Musculoskeletal System”, the treatment of more severe injuries and their long-term consequences, as well as the organisation, supervision, and execution of treatment for severely injured patients.
